What should I expect in my first session?

Our first session together will give us a chance to get to know each other and discuss why you are coming and your goals for therapy.  Most importantly, you will have an opportunity to know that you are normal and that you can find healing and restoration for what you are going through (grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management, etc).  Together, we will navigate toward understanding and freedom.

 

How long is a session?

A standard session is 50 to 60 minutes long. However, 90-minute sessions are also available if requested; some clients in more pressing circumstances may find these longer sessions more suitable for their needs.

 

What is the session fee for out-of-pocket?

My rates are comparable with other health care professionals with my degree of specialized training in the DFW area.  A standard session is $165.  

 

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, I am not accepting new insurance clients.

 

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Currently, I do not have any more openings for Open Path members.

I reserve a select number of spots for Open Path members.  Open Path is network of therapists providing affordable rates for those that cannot afford market rates for private pay therapists.  Here is a link for Open Path if you are interested in pursuing this option.  Spots are limited so please reach out before signing up to ensure that I have a spot available for you.  https://openpathcollective.org/

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept payment by cash, check, and credit card, specifically Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.  You may also use your FSA or HSA to pay for sessions.

How do I get to your office?

My office is located at 3500 Oak Lawn Ave, Ste 550, Dallas, TX 75219.

We are in the large building on the northeast corner of Oak Lawn and Lemmon Ave.

 

Where do I park?

There is a large parking garage connected to the building with the entrance off Welborn St.  You can park in any spot that is not marked reserved on the lower or upper levels.

 

What do I do when I have arrived?

If you parked in the parking garage, you will enter the building from the 3rd floor of the parking garage.  As you enter, you will continue straight to the elevators located on your left.  Take the elevators (inside the building not the garage) to the 5th floor.  Upon exiting the elevators, turn left, right, and another right.  We are the last office on your left.  Once you enter our waiting area, help yourself to a beverage or magazine while you wait for me to come and get you.
